The Lions Club of the City of Adelaide is dedicated to providing high quality, warm winter blankets to the “sleeping rough” in the city’s parklands and its surrounds.
Our Lions Club purchase and deliver over 200 blankets each year to be delivered to between ten (10) and twelve (12) of Adelaide’s welfare centres and shelters. In 2021/22 we delivered over 450 blankets.
These organisations subsequently distribute these donated blankets to those in need. In addition to this, we love it when the community supports the project by donating brand new or in excellent condition blankets and bedding. Always happy to accept donations to support more people in need.
