Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs

Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs

We are also proud to support Bread Tags for Wheelchairs, by collecting and donating bread tags.

By collecting bread tags, this organisation is able to provide wheelchairs to disabled people in need as well as helping the environment by keeping these bread tags out of landfill.

Bread tags are sold to recyclers with all money raised paying for wheelchairs. Approximately 200kg of bread tags = 1 wheelchair.

Our Club’s Collection Point is:

Forerunner Computer Systems
46 North East Road,
Walkerville SA 5081

We are proud to have support Lids 4 Kids Australia by collecting plastic bottle caps.

3D-printed mobility aids for kids – Lids4Kids is a 100% volunteer initiative that aims to save plastic lids from going to landfill, into our waterways, and spoiling native habitats.

But did you know that those tiny lids can also have a big impact on a kid’s life? It takes just 500-800 lids to create a 3D-printed mobilty aid for a child born without a hand or limb.

UPDATE: Due to Covid-19, Lids 4 Kids has temporarily suspended collecting plastic bottle caps and we have run out of storage space as a result. Please hold onto your collections and check back for when we are collecting again, once we’ve delivered what we’ve already got stored.

You can follow the Lids 4 Kids SA Facebook page here.
