On the 5th of July, 2016, The Lions Club of the City of Adelaide held its annual handover dinner. Members, family and friends attended the handover at The Caledonian Hotel in North Adelaide.
The evening provided members with a recap of the past 12 months, the events held, project progress, member achievements and club accomplishments.
Lion Dean Scott OAM was awarded a special plaque in recognition of his 50 years of dedication and service to Lions. Congratulations Dean.
Lion Tony Pederick OAM was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for his dedication and service to Lions and the community. Congratulations Tony.
Members of the Club would like to thank Lion Tony Pederick OAM for serving as Club President for the past four years and we welcome our new Club President, Lindsay Miller.
We were honoured to have Lion Maureen Lawlor from Down Syndrome SA and one of their program participants come along as our guest speakers for the night.
The past 12 months have been filled with many achievements and service to our community. Thank you to all of our club members, their families and friends for your time and dedication.
