Indiana is the daughter of two City of Adelaide Lions Club members, she is also the person behind the Cubs Club program idea and the Charter President of The Little Roarers Cubs Club … the very first Cubs Club.
Indiana loves all things to do with Lions and loves to help people. She wanted to share this with more people and get her friends involved too. Of course, not being 18 years old, she was too young to join Lions, and not even old enough to join Leos (she was only 7 at the time). So what did she do? She spoke to her school principal and asked if she could start her own club with the support of her parents. Lions Andrew and Petrea developed a full Cubs Club program. Fast forward to late 2018, and the first trial sessions were held ahead of the club’s official charter in February 2019.
The Little Roarers Cubs Club, now in it’s third year, is still going strong. Following this program’s success, we are excited to announce that a second Cubs Club is soon to be launched.
The City of Adelaide Lions Club and the Golden Grove Lions Club are joining forces to start another Cubs Club at Pedare Christian College. Check out the video below featuring founding members of The Little Roarers Cubs Club and the children behind the whole program.
