January was a quiet start to the year, with Fred’s Van being our only event outside of Club meetings for the month. Approximately 80 clients were served at Fred’s Van this month. February proved to be a little busier.
In February, our members visited the Hutt Street Centre to assist with their Thursday morning breakfast. Something all clients appreciate and our members enjoy volunteering for. Our members also volunteered for Fred’s Van again in February, with approximately 90 clients in attendance.
In February, City Holden held their annual event where fans can meet the Holden drivers ahead of the Clipsal 500. They chose our Lions Club to cater for the event with a sausage sizzle to support our many projects in the community.
At our February dinner meeting, we inducted two new members into our Club, Craig and Dimple. Welcome to Lions!
We are looking forward to a few busy months ahead.
