The Lions Club of the City of Adelaide is proud to support the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation (ALCCRF), and more specifically, the Longest Coin Line.
Our District Governor for C1, Tony Pederick OAM, has become known across the Lions community in Australia, for his “Big Blue Bucket”. As the District Governor is a member of our club, our club has taken on the challenge to fill the bucket. Our club has made up towers of tins for collection in a bid to fill this bucket, which holds 20L.
The Guinness World Record for the longest Coin Line made up of five cent pieces is currently 75.24km with the Lions goal being 76km. This world record will be attempted in November 2021.
